How to use this table
- Functions are equivalent; times can vary slightly per robot. Check doneness a few minutes early.
- If your robot doesn't reach Varoma temperature (120°C), use its max temperature and extend steaming a few minutes.
- On Cookabot you don't need to convert by hand: open any recipe and pick your robot — steps adapt automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Thermomix recipes on the Cecotec Mambo?
Yes. The functions are equivalent: Varoma corresponds to steaming at 120°C with the steamer, spoon speed to speed 1, and reverse to low speed without chopping. On Cookabot every recipe adapts to the Mambo automatically.
What is the Varoma equivalent on other robots?
Thermomix's Varoma equals steaming with your robot's steamer basket at around 120°C, or its maximum temperature if it doesn't reach that.
What is spoon speed and how does it translate?
It's Thermomix's lowest speed, meant for stirring without chopping. On most robots it corresponds to speed 1 or the minimum speed.
Do I need to convert recipes by hand?
Not on Cookabot: our 1461 recipes show the steps adapted to the robot you choose, free and with no subscription.
