Creamy black lentils and beans simmered low and slow.

Ingredients
- 200 g black urad lentils (soaked overnight)
- 60 g red kidney beans (soaked)
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 300 g crushed tomato
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 40 g butter
- 100 g cooking cream
- 700 g water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro
Step-by-step

- Put the soaked lentils and beans with the water in the mixing bowl. Cook 35 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed. Set aside.
- Without washing the mixing bowl, add the onion, garlic and ginger. Blend 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add the butter and sauté 6 min/120°C/speed 1.
- Add the tomato, cumin, chili and garam masala. Cook 10 min/100°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup.
- Return the legumes with their cooking liquid and cook 15 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the cream and cook 5 min/90°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Adjust the salt and garnish with cilantro.
Tips
- The longer it rests, the better it tastes.
- If it gets too thick, add a little hot water.
