Classic yogurt sponge cake

Ingredients

  • 1 plain yogurt (125 g)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 yogurt-pot measures of sugar
  • 3 yogurt-pot measures of flour
  • 1 yogurt-pot measure of sunflower oil
  • 1 sachet baking powder (16 g)
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the eggs and sugar in the mixing bowl and beat 3 min/speed 4.
  2. Add the yogurt, oil and zest and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking powder and mix 25 sec/speed 3.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased and floured tin.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  6. Check with a skewer that comes out clean and let it cool.

Tips

  • Use the yogurt pot as a measure for everything.
  • Do not open the oven until the last few minutes.
