Ingredients
- 500 g strong bread flour
- 200 g warm milk
- 2 eggs
- 80 g soft butter
- 70 g sugar
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 8 g salt
- 1 egg for brushing
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the milk, yeast and sugar in the mixing bowl and set 2 min/37°C/speed 2.
- Add the eggs, flour, butter and salt and mix 20 sec/speed 6.
- Knead 5 min/closed bowl/dough mode.
- Let the dough rise in a covered bowl until doubled in volume, about 70 min.
- Divide the dough into ten portions and shape elongated or round buns.
- Place the buns on a tray with baking paper.
- Let them rise covered another 45 min.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 16 min until golden.
- Let cool on a rack.
Tips
- You can make a cut and place a strip of butter before baking.
- Sprinkle sugar on top for a more indulgent finish.
