Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 150 g raw almonds soaked for 8 hours
  • 1 litre water
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Drain and rinse the soaked almonds and put them in the mixing bowl.
  2. Add the water, the dates, the salt and the vanilla.
  3. For plant-based milks blend 1 min/speed 10 and strain with the basket.
  4. Press the pulp well with a cloth bag to extract all the liquid.
  5. Store the milk in a bottle and keep it chilled for up to 3 days.

Tips

  • Shake before serving because it tends to separate naturally.
  • The leftover pulp can be dried to make almond flour.
