Cucumber raita
Refreshing Indian sauce of yogurt and cucumber to accompany curries.

Ingredients
- 300 g plain yogurt
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 handful fresh mint
- 1 handful fresh coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the cucumber in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 4, drain the excess water.
- Add the mint and the coriander and chop 2 sec/speed 4.
- Add the yogurt, the cumin, the salt and the pepper.
- Mix 15 sec/speed 3 without blending completely.
- Chill in the fridge at least 20 minutes before serving.
Tips
- Grate the cucumber if you prefer a finer texture.
- Perfect to tone down the heat of a curry.
