Yoghurt sponge cake

Classic fluffy yoghurt sponge cake ideal for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 natural yoghurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 yoghurt measures of sugar
  • 3 yoghurt measures of flour
  • 1 yoghurt measure of sunflower oil
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • the zest of one lemon
  • butter for the mould

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the eggs, the sugar and the zest in the mixing bowl and beat 3 min/speed 4.
  2. Add the yoghurt and the oil and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
  3. Add the flour and the baking powder and mix 15 sec/speed 3.
  4. Finish integrating with the spatula if there is loose flour.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased mould.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 35 minutes.
  7. Check with a toothpick and let it cool before unmoulding.

Tips

  • Use the yoghurt container as a measure for everything.
  • Do not open the oven for the first 25 minutes.
