Garlic shrimp
Shrimp sauteed in oil with garlic and chili, a classic tapa.

Ingredients
- 400 g peeled shrimp
- 5 sliced garlic cloves
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 80 g extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 splash of white wine
- Salt to taste
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the oil, the sliced garlic and the chili in the mixing bowl.
- Program 5 min/120°C/spoon speed so the garlic browns slightly.
- Salt the shrimp and add them to the mixing bowl.
- Program 4 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed so they do not break.
- Add a splash of white wine and program 1 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Check the doneness of the shrimp; they should be pink and juicy.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley and mix 5 sec/reverse/spoon speed.
- Serve immediately in an earthenware dish with bread for dipping.
Tips
- Do not overcook the shrimp or they will turn rubbery.
- Serve very hot with crusty bread.
- You can use prawns instead of shrimp.
