Ingredients

  • 16 cannelloni sheets
  • 400 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100 g chicken livers
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 600 g milk
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g flour
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 120 g grated cheese
  • Nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the onion and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
  2. Add the oil and saute 6 min/120C/spoon speed.
  3. Add the ground meat and the livers and saute 6 min/Varoma/reverse/spoon speed.
  4. Pour in the wine and set 5 min/Varoma/reverse/spoon speed without the measuring cup; blend the filling 5 sec/speed 4 and set aside.
  5. Without washing the mixing bowl, put the butter, the flour, the milk, the nutmeg and salt.
  6. Set 9 min/90C/speed 4 until the bechamel thickens.
  7. Cook the cannelloni sheets as per the package and drain them on a cloth.
  8. Fill each sheet with the meat filling and roll it up.
  9. Place the cannelloni in a dish, cover them with bechamel and the grated cheese.
  10. Gratin 12 min at 220C until golden and serve hot.

Tips

  • The livers add the traditional Catalan flavor to the filling.
  • Spread the sheets on a damp cloth so they do not stick.
  • You can prepare them the day before and gratin at serving time.
