Thick Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 200 g dark couverture chocolate
  • 500 ml whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Chop the chocolate and put it in the mixing bowl with the cornstarch and the sugar.
  2. Pulverize 10 sec/speed 8 to integrate everything.
  3. Add the milk and the cinnamon.
  4. Heat 8 min/90 C/speed 3 until it thickens.
  5. If you want it denser program 2 min/90 C/speed 3 more.
  6. Serve very hot with churros or sponge cakes.

Tips

  • For a vegan version use oat drink and dairy-free chocolate.
  • Watch that it does not boil too much so it does not stick.
