Homemade churros with Thermomix dough
Crunchy churros to dunk in hot chocolate.

Ingredients
- 250 g wheat flour
- 250 ml water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Sunflower oil for frying
- Sugar for coating
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the water, salt and sugar in the mixing bowl and heat 5 min/100°C/speed 1.
- Add all the flour at once and mix 20 sec/speed 4.
- Let the dough rest 5 minutes until it warms down.
- Pass the dough to a churro maker or piping bag with a star nozzle.
- Heat plenty of oil and form the churros cutting with scissors.
- Fry until golden, drain on paper and coat in sugar.
Tips
- The oil should be at 180°C so they do not absorb grease.
- Serve with thick chocolate for dunking.
