Varoma sea bream with vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 cleaned sea bream in fillets (600 g)
  • 1 zucchini in slices
  • 2 tomatoes in slices
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100 g white wine
  • 500 g water
  • 40 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the onion and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
  2. Add the oil and saute 6 min/120°C/spoon speed. Set the sofrito aside.
  3. Pour the water and the white wine into the mixing bowl to generate the steam.
  4. Place the zucchini and tomato slices in the Varoma dish.
  5. Salt and pepper the sea bream fillets and arrange them over the vegetables.
  6. Spread the sofrito and a few lemon slices over the fish.
  7. Set the Varoma in place and program 18 min/Varoma/speed 2.
  8. Check that the sea bream is cooked and the vegetables tender.
  9. Plate, drizzle with raw oil and serve with a lemon wedge.

Tips

  • The previous sofrito brings a lot of flavor to the steam.
  • Cut the vegetables thin so they cook at the same time.
  • Ask the fishmonger for boneless fillets.
