Ingredients
- 700 g of stewing beef in cubes
- 2 carrots
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 150 g of red wine
- 300 g of meat stock
- 1 bay leaf
- 40 g of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Black pepper to taste
Step-by-step

- Put the onion and the garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
- Add the oil and saute 7 min/120°C/spoon speed.
- Add the paprika and saute 30 sec/100°C/spoon speed so it does not burn.
- Pour in the red wine and let it evaporate 3 min/Varoma/spoon speed without the measuring cup.
- Fit the butterfly, add the meat, the stock, the bay leaf, salt and pepper and set 40 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes and carrots into even cubes.
- Add the vegetables to the mixing bowl and set 20 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Check that the meat and potatoes are tender by piercing them with a knife.
- Adjust the salt, remove the bay leaf and let it rest 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove a few potatoes and blend them with a little stock.
- The stew improves from one day to the next, so prepare it in advance.
