Ingredients

  • 500 ml of whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee
  • 100 g of sugar for the caramel
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Make the caramel with the 100 g of sugar and distribute it among the moulds.
  2. Put the milk and the instant coffee in the mixing bowl and program 5 min/80°C/speed 3.
  3. Add the eggs, the sugar and the vanilla and mix 20 sec/speed 4.
  4. Pour the mixture into the caramelised moulds.
  5. Cook in a bain-marie in the oven at 170°C for 40 minutes.
  6. Check that it has set by pricking with a toothpick.
  7. Let it cool and refrigerate 4 hours before unmoulding.

Tips

  • Adjust the amount of coffee to your taste.
  • The bain-marie guarantees a smooth texture.
