Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 10 g dry yeast
- 250 ml warm water
- 60 g lard or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 350 g grated fresh cheese
- 1 tablespoon ají amarillo
- 2 tablespoons flour for the filling paste
- 100 ml milk
Step-by-step

- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let it foam.
- Put the flour, lard and salt in the mixing bowl, add the yeast: knead 4 min/closed lid/dough mode.
- Let the dough rise, covered, 40 minutes until doubled.
- For the filling: mix the cheese, ají, flour and milk 20 sec/speed 4 into a creamy paste.
- Roll out discs of dough, place the filling and close, leaving a round, flattened shape.
- Bake 15 minutes at 210°C until golden; the cheese should be melted.
Tips
- Seal the edges well so the cheese doesn't leak out while baking.
- Serve them hot to enjoy the melted cheese.
