Ingredients
- 600 g of lean pork in cubes
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 green bell pepper
- 500 g of crushed tomato
- 100 g of white wine
- 40 g of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Black pepper to taste
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the onion, the garlic and the bell pepper in the mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add the oil and saute 7 min/120°C/spoon speed.
- Add the lean pork and saute 5 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate 3 min/Varoma/spoon speed without the measuring cup.
- Add the tomato, the sugar, the bay leaf, salt and pepper and mix 5 sec/speed 2.
- Fit the butterfly and set 25 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Check that the meat is tender and the sauce has reduced.
- Remove the bay leaf and adjust the salt.
- Serve with french fries or bread to dip.
Tips
- The sugar corrects the acidity of the tomato and softens the sauce.
- An ideal stew to prepare in advance and reheat.
