Classic strawberry jam
Homemade strawberry jam with a perfect setting point.

Ingredients
- 800 g strawberries, cleaned and hulled
- 400 g sugar
- The juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon pectin (optional)
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the strawberries in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
- Add the sugar and lemon juice, mix 5 sec/speed 3.
- Place the basket on the lid instead of the measuring cup to prevent splashes.
- Set 30 min/100C/speed 2 to evaporate the water.
- If you want a finer texture, blend 30 sec/speed 5 at the end.
- Check the setting point by placing a drop on a cold plate; if it does not slide, it is ready.
- Pour hot into sterilized jars, seal and turn upside down for 10 minutes to create a vacuum.
Tips
- Sterilize the jars by boiling them for 10 minutes before filling them.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to 1 year; once opened, in the fridge.
- Lemon adds acidity and helps with natural setting.
