Chocolate custard

Ingredients

  • 800 ml of whole milk
  • 150 g of dark chocolate
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 120 g of sugar
  • 40 g of cornflour
  • biscuits to serve

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the chopped chocolate in the mixing bowl and grind 10 sec/speed 8.
  2. Add the yolks, the sugar and the cornflour and mix 15 sec/speed 4.
  3. Add the milk and program 8 min/90°C/speed 4 until it thickens.
  4. Check that it has a creamy and homogeneous texture.
  5. Distribute into bowls with a biscuit at the bottom.
  6. Let it cool down and refrigerate 2 hours.
  7. Serve cold with a biscuit as decoration.

Tips

  • Use a good-quality chocolate for more flavour.
  • Stir right after finishing for a silky texture.
