Cassava Bread (Pan de Yuca)
Stretchy little rolls of cassava starch and cheese, light and golden.

Ingredients
- 250 g cassava starch
- 250 g grated fresh cheese
- 1 egg
- 30 g softened butter
- About 50 g milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Step-by-step

- Put the cheese in the mixing bowl and grate 15 sec/speed 7.
- Add the egg, butter, salt and baking powder and mix 20 sec/speed 4.
- Add the cassava starch and knead 2 min/closed lid/dough mode.
- Add milk little by little until you get a dough that doesn't stick.
- Shape into sticks or balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake at 200°C for 15 to 18 minutes until golden.
- Serve hot, fresh out of the oven.
Tips
- Pan de yuca is best enjoyed fresh from the oven.
- You can freeze the raw pieces and bake them directly whenever needed.
