Ingredients

  • 500 g strong flour
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 10 g salt

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the water, yeast and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix 1 min/37°C/speed 2.
  2. Add the flour, oil and salt.
  3. Knead 5 min/closed mixing bowl/dough mode.
  4. Let the dough rise in the covered mixing bowl for 30 minutes until doubled.
  5. Shape a loaf and place it in a tin with baking paper.
  6. Let it rest 15 minutes while you preheat the oven to 200°C.
  7. Bake 25 minutes until it sounds hollow when tapping the base.

Tips

  • Put a container of water in the oven for a better crust.
  • Let it cool on a rack before slicing.
