Homemade mashed potato
Classic mashed potato, smooth and velvety.

Ingredients
- 700 g potatoes
- 200 g milk
- 50 g butter
- 30 g extra virgin olive oil
- A pinch of nutmeg
- 600 g water
- Salt to taste
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes and put them in the basket.
- Put the water in the mixing bowl and insert the basket.
- Set 20 min/Varoma/speed 2 until the potatoes are tender.
- Remove the basket and empty the water from the mixing bowl.
- Add to the mixing bowl the potatoes, the milk, the butter, the oil, the nutmeg and the salt.
- Blend 25 sec/speed 4 until you achieve a homogeneous puree.
- Adjust salt and serve.
Tips
- Use floury potatoes for a fluffier puree.
- If you like it lighter, add a little more hot milk.
- For a vegan version swap milk and butter for plant-based options.
