Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (600 g)
  • 80 g soy sauce
  • 60 g mirin
  • 40 g sake
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 500 g water
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the soy, the mirin, the sake, the sugar and the ginger in the mixing bowl.
  2. Program 8 min/100°C/speed 2 without measuring cup so the sauce reduces and thickens.
  3. Reserve the teriyaki sauce in a bowl.
  4. Clean the mixing bowl and pour in the water to generate the steam.
  5. Place the lightly salted salmon fillets in the Varoma dish.
  6. Set the Varoma in place and program 14 min/Varoma/speed 2.
  7. Carefully remove the salmon and arrange it on a dish.
  8. Brush the fillets with the teriyaki sauce until glazed.
  9. Sprinkle the sesame and the chives and serve with white rice.

Tips

  • Reserve a little sauce to serve on the side.
  • The salmon stays juicier if it is not overcooked.
  • Use gluten-free soy if you need it.
