Ingredients
- 1.2 kg hen, cut into pieces
- 500 g yam (ñame)
- 1 cassava (yuca)
- 2 corn cobs, in chunks
- 1 onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 large bunch culantro (broadleaf cilantro)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 2 liters water

- Chop the onion and garlic 4 sec/speed 4. Add the hen, salt, oregano and 2 liters water. Cook 40 min/Varoma/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the yam and cassava in chunks. Cook 20 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the corn and cook 15 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the chopped culantro and cook 5 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Adjust the salt and pepper. Serve with white rice on the side.
