Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 3 eggs
- 150 g of sugar
- 150 g of flour
- 100 ml of milk
- 80 g of melted butter
- 1 sachet of baking powder (16 g)
- 4 tablespoons of apricot jam
- 1 pinch of salt
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Peel the apples, thinly slice three and set aside, chop the other one.
- Add the eggs and the sugar and beat 2 min/speed 4.
- Add the milk and the melted butter and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
- Add the flour, the baking powder and the salt and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
- Add the chopped apple and fold in 10 sec/speed 2 reverse.
- Pour into a mold and arrange the apple slices fanned out on top.
- Bake 45 min at 180C until it sets and browns.
- Heat the jam and brush the surface to give it shine.
Tips
- Reinette or golden apples work very well.
- The jam glaze gives a professional look.
- Serve cold from the fridge.
