Classic tiramisu
Italian dessert with mascarpone, coffee and ladyfinger sponge biscuits.
Vegetarian
Ingredients
- 500 g of mascarpone cheese
- 4 eggs
- 120 g of sugar
- 250 ml of strong cold coffee
- 1 packet of ladyfinger sponge biscuits
- pure cocoa powder for dusting
- 1 pinch of salt
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Separate the whites from the yolks.
- Put the butterfly, add the whites and the salt and whip 4 min/speed 3.5; set aside.
- Without washing the mixing bowl put the yolks and the sugar and beat 3 min/speed 4.
- Add the mascarpone and mix 30 sec/speed 3.
- Fold in the whipped whites with enveloping movements.
- Dip the biscuits in the coffee and form a layer in the dish.
- Cover with cream, repeat layers and finish with cream.
- Refrigerate 4 hours and dust with cocoa before serving.
Tips
- Do not soak the biscuits too much or it will turn out watery.
- It is better from one day to the next so the flavours settle.
