Hibiscus Water

Ingredients

  • 30 g dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 litre water
  • 100 g sugar
  • The juice of half a lemon
  • Ice to taste

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the water in the mixing bowl and heat 8 min/100 C/speed 1.
  2. Add the hibiscus flowers and let infuse for 10 minutes with the basket.
  3. Strain the liquid to remove the flowers.
  4. Return the infusion to the mixing bowl with the sugar and the lemon and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
  5. Chill in the fridge and serve with plenty of ice.

Tips

  • Do not exceed the infusion time so it does not turn bitter.
  • The used flowers can be used in tacos or jams.
