Mexican guacamole
Creamy avocado with tomato, onion, cilantro and a touch of lime.

Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- A few sprigs of fresh cilantro
- The juice of 1 lime
- 1 jalapeno pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- A drizzle of olive oil
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the onion, garlic and cilantro in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 5.
- Scrape down the sides with the spatula.
- Add the chopped tomato and the jalapeno and chop 3 sec/speed 4.
- Add the avocado flesh, the lime juice and the salt.
- Blend 6 sec/speed 4 to keep some texture.
- Check the salt and lime seasoning and adjust to taste.
- Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or nachos.
Tips
- To prevent oxidation, leave an avocado pit inside the bowl.
- If you prefer it spicier, keep the jalapeno seeds.
- Prepare it just before serving for a brighter color.
