Ingredients

  • 350 g wheat flour
  • 180 g warm water
  • 40 g olive oil
  • 6 g salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the flour, salt and baking powder in the mixing bowl and mix 5 sec/speed 5.
  2. Add the water and oil and mix 20 sec/speed 6.
  3. Knead 2 min/closed bowl/dough mode.
  4. Shape into a ball, cover and let rest 20 min.
  5. Divide the dough into eight portions and shape each into a ball.
  6. Roll out each ball very thin with a rolling pin into a circle shape.
  7. Heat a pan or griddle without oil over medium-high heat.
  8. Cook each tortilla 1 min on each side until golden spots appear.
  9. Stack the tortillas and keep them covered with a cloth so they stay soft.
  10. Serve hot.

Tips

  • Resting the dough makes it easier to roll out very thin.
  • Do not overcook them so they do not become stiff.
