Wheat tortillas
Thin and flexible tortillas for fajitas and burritos.

Ingredients
- 350 g wheat flour
- 180 g warm water
- 40 g olive oil
- 6 g salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the flour, salt and baking powder in the mixing bowl and mix 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add the water and oil and mix 20 sec/speed 6.
- Knead 2 min/closed bowl/dough mode.
- Shape into a ball, cover and let rest 20 min.
- Divide the dough into eight portions and shape each into a ball.
- Roll out each ball very thin with a rolling pin into a circle shape.
- Heat a pan or griddle without oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook each tortilla 1 min on each side until golden spots appear.
- Stack the tortillas and keep them covered with a cloth so they stay soft.
- Serve hot.
Tips
- Resting the dough makes it easier to roll out very thin.
- Do not overcook them so they do not become stiff.
