Ingredients

  • 500 g of ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 400 g of crushed tomato
  • 400 g of cooked red beans
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 chili or chili powder to taste
  • 40 g of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 150 g of meat stock

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the onion, the garlic and the bell pepper in the mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5.
  2. Add the oil and saute 7 min/120°C/spoon speed.
  3. Add the ground meat and saute 5 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
  4. Add the cumin, the paprika and the chili and saute 1 min/100°C/spoon speed.
  5. Pour in the crushed tomato and the stock and mix 5 sec/speed 2.
  6. Set 20 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed without the measuring cup.
  7. Drain the beans, add them to the mixing bowl and set 8 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed.
  8. Adjust the salt and the heat to taste.
  9. Serve with white rice, nachos or avocado on top.

Tips

  • A small square of dark chocolate at the end enhances all the flavors.
  • Let the chili rest so the spices blend better.
