Fitness chicken with spices in the Varoma
Juicy steamed chicken breast marinated with spices, high in protein.
Gluten-free
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (350 g)
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 200 g broccoli florets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 700 g water
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Mix the paprika, oregano, garlic, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the breasts with the marinade and let them rest 10 minutes.
- Put the water in the mixing bowl.
- Place the breasts in the Varoma tray and the broccoli in the lower container.
- Set the Varoma in position and program 22 min/Varoma/speed 1.
- Check that the chicken is done inside; if needed add 3 min/Varoma/speed 1.
- Cut the chicken into slices and serve with the broccoli.
Tips
- Nutritional note: steamed breast is the leanest option to build muscle mass.
- Marinating beforehand gives much more flavor without adding fat.
- Set the chicken aside in portions for your meals during the week.
