Homemade barbecue sauce
Sweet and smoky sauce perfect for meats and ribs.

Ingredients
- 300 g of ketchup
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 60 g of brown sugar
- 40 g of apple vinegar
- 20 g of vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 20 g of olive oil
- 100 g of water
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the onion and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5.
- Add the oil and saute 6 min/120°C/speed 1.
- Add the ketchup, sugar, vinegar, sauce and paprika.
- Add the water and mix 10 sec/speed 4.
- Set 15 min/Varoma/speed 1 without the measuring cup to reduce.
- Blend 30 sec/speed 7 until smooth and glossy and let it cool.
Tips
- Adjust the sugar and vinegar to balance sweet and sour to your taste.
- A drop of tabasco gives it a spicy touch.
- It keeps for a week in the fridge in an airtight jar.
