Tortellini with cream and ham

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh tortellini
  • 1200 g water
  • 150 g serrano ham in cubes
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 60 g grated parmesan cheese
  • 30 g butter
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the water and salt in the mixing bowl and set 10 min/Varoma/speed 1.
  2. Add the tortellini through the lid hole and set 6 min/100C/reverse/spoon speed.
  3. Drain the pasta carefully and set it aside covered.
  4. Without washing the mixing bowl, put the butter and the garlic and saute 3 min/100C/spoon speed.
  5. Add the ham in cubes and saute 3 min/Varoma/reverse/spoon speed.
  6. Pour in the cream, the nutmeg and pepper and set 4 min/90C/speed 2.
  7. Add the parmesan and mix 30 sec/speed 3 until the sauce binds.
  8. Add the tortellini and mix 1 min/reverse/spoon speed gently.
  9. Adjust the salt carefully because the ham already adds salt.
  10. Serve right away with chopped parsley.

Tips

  • Mix the tortellini gently so they do not break.
  • Serrano ham already adds salt, taste before salting.
  • Serve right away because the cream sauce thickens as it cools.
