Homemade marinated olives
Olives marinated with garlic, herbs, lemon and paprika.

Ingredients
- 400 g green olives
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 60 g extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the garlic in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 4.
- Add the zest and the juice of the lemon, the oregano, the thyme and the paprika.
- Add the oil, the bay leaf and the cumin and mix 5 sec/speed 3.
- Add the drained olives to the mixing bowl.
- Mix 10 sec/reverse/speed 2 to coat them without breaking them.
- Transfer everything to an airtight container.
- Let marinate in the fridge for at least 24 hours, stirring from time to time.
- Serve at room temperature as an appetizer.
Tips
- The longer they marinate, the more flavor they will take on.
- You can add chili pepper for a spicy touch.
- Use good quality olives, pitted or with pit to taste.
