Ingredients
- 500 g beef steak
- 400 g cooked white rice
- 300 g cooked black beans
- 2 ripe plantains
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tomato
- 1 tablespoon Lizano sauce
- Cabbage and tomato for salad
- Oil, salt and pepper
- 300 ml water
Step-by-step

- Chop the onion, garlic and tomato 4 sec/speed 4. Add oil and sauté 6 min/Varoma/speed 1.
- Add the steak in strips, the Lizano sauce and 300 ml water. Cook 20 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed. Set aside.
- Fry the sliced ripe plantains until golden and set aside.
- Fry the eggs separately to taste.
- Assemble the plate with rice, beans, the meat in sauce, fried plantain, egg and cabbage-tomato salad.
Tips
- Casado can be made with chicken, fish or pork instead of beef.
- The fried ripe plantain adds the sweet contrast.
