Ingredients

  • 600 g of pork loin in cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 150 g of pineapple in chunks
  • 60 g of ketchup
  • 30 g of rice vinegar
  • 30 g of sugar
  • 20 g of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • Cornstarch and oil for coating and frying
  • 200 g of pineapple juice

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Coat the pork cubes in cornstarch and fry them until golden, then set them aside.
  2. Put the pineapple juice, the ketchup, the vinegar, the sugar and the soy in the mixing bowl.
  3. Mix 5 sec/speed 3 and set 5 min/100°C/speed 2 without the measuring cup.
  4. Dissolve the cornstarch in a tablespoon of water and add it to the mixing bowl.
  5. Set 3 min/100°C/speed 2 until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the bell peppers in cubes and the pineapple and mix 10 sec/reverse/spoon speed.
  7. Set 4 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed so the bell peppers stay al dente.
  8. Add the fried pork and mix 20 sec/reverse/spoon speed.
  9. Serve right away over white rice.

Tips

  • Add the pork at the end so it does not lose its crispy texture.
  • Fresh pineapple adds more freshness than canned.
