Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 100 g lard
- 280 ml warm water
- 10 g dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Step-by-step

- Put the warm water, yeast and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix 1 min, 37°C, speed 2.
- Add the flour, lard and salt and knead 4 min, lid closed, dough mode.
- Let the dough rise, covered, 45 min until doubled in size.
- Shape into rolls, flatten slightly and prick with a fork.
- Let rest 20 min and bake at 200°C for 25 min until golden.
- Serve warm with butter or pebre.
Tips
- Lard gives it the traditional country bread texture.
- Pricking keeps it from puffing up too much.
