Ingredients
- 500 g strong flour
- 200 ml warm milk
- 2 eggs
- 80 g sugar
- 70 g soft butter
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 8 g salt
- 1 beaten egg for brushing
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the milk, yeast and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix 1 min/37°C/speed 2.
- Add the eggs, flour and salt and knead 3 min/closed mixing bowl/dough mode.
- Stir in the butter and knead again 4 min/closed mixing bowl/dough mode.
- Let the dough rise covered 60 minutes until doubled in volume.
- Shape buns, place them on the tray and let them rise 30 more minutes.
- Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180°C for 18 minutes.
- Let them cool on a rack before serving.
Tips
- Add the butter in several batches for a better texture.
- Brushing with egg gives a glossy golden finish.
