Ingredients

  • 700 g potatoes
  • 60 g butter
  • 150 g milk
  • 50 g cooking cream
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 500 g water
  • Salt and white pepper to taste

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Put them in the basket.
  2. Put the water in the mixing bowl and insert the basket with the potatoes.
  3. Set 20 min/Varoma/speed 2 until they are very tender.
  4. Remove the basket and empty the water from the mixing bowl.
  5. Put the potatoes in the mixing bowl with the butter, the milk, the cream, the nutmeg, the salt and the pepper.
  6. Blend 30 sec/speed 4 until you obtain a fine and creamy puree.
  7. Adjust salt and serve hot.

Tips

  • Do not blend too much or the puree will turn out gummy.
  • For a vegan version replace butter with oil and the milk and cream with plant-based drink.
  • Heat the milk beforehand so the puree turns out smoother.
