Ingredients
- 400 g dried noodles (tallarín)
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup fresh cheese
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans
- 4 beef steaks
- Oil and salt
Step-by-step

- Cook the noodles in a separate pot according to the package and set aside.
- Chop the onion and garlic 4 sec/speed 5 and sauté with oil 5 min/120°C/speed 1.
- Add the basil, spinach, walnuts, cheese and milk. Blend 30 sec/speed 8 into a fine cream.
- Heat the sauce 5 min/90°C/speed 2. Adjust the salt.
- Sear the seasoned steaks in a separate pan 3 min per side.
- Toss the noodles with the pesto and serve with the steak on top.
Tips
- Pecans are sweeter than walnuts and give it the Lima touch.
- If the sauce is too thick, adjust with a bit more milk.
