Chocolate bundt cake

Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 g of melted butter
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 60 g of cocoa powder
  • 1 sachet of baking powder (16 g)
  • 150 g of dark chocolate for the glaze
  • 50 ml of cream
  • 1 pinch of salt

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Preheat the oven to 175C and grease a bundt mold well.
  2. Add the eggs and the sugar and beat 2 min/speed 4.
  3. Add the melted butter and the milk and mix 30 sec/speed 3.
  4. Add the flour, the cocoa, the baking powder and the salt and mix 25 sec/speed 3.
  5. Pour into the mold and tap it to release bubbles.
  6. Bake 45 min at 175C and check with a toothpick.
  7. Let it cool for 15 min and unmold carefully.
  8. Melt the chocolate with the cream 3 min/50C/speed 2 and glaze the now cold ring.

Tips

  • Grease every nook of the mold for a perfect unmolding.
  • Do not unmold it hot or it breaks.
  • The glaze works better with the sponge cold.
