Mexican cold dessert of biscuits, lemon and condensed milk.

Ingredients

  • 200 g of Maria-type biscuits
  • 400 g of condensed milk
  • 300 ml of cream
  • Juice of 4 lemons
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Milk to soak the biscuits

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Add the condensed milk, the cream and the lemon juice and mix 40 sec/speed 4.
  2. Add the zest and mix 5 sec/speed 3 until a thick cream.
  3. Lightly dip the biscuits in milk.
  4. Place a layer of biscuits on the bottom of a dish.
  5. Cover with a layer of lemon cream.
  6. Repeat layers of biscuit and cream finishing with cream.
  7. Refrigerate at least 4 hours until it sets.
  8. Decorate with lemon zest before serving.

Tips

  • The acid of the lemon thickens the cream, it needs no oven.
  • Better to leave it from one day to the next.
  • Serve it well chilled.
