Ingredients
- 800 g yellow potato
- 3 tablespoons ají amarillo paste
- 300 g cooked chicken breast
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 1 avocado
- 1 lime
- 30 g oil
- Olives, hard-boiled egg, salt and pepper
Step-by-step

- Put 600 g water in the mixing bowl, place the peeled potatoes in the steaming basket. Cook 25 min/100°C/speed 2. Drain and mash; let cool.
- Mix the mash with the ají amarillo, oil, lime juice, salt and pepper into a smooth mixture.
- Put the cooked chicken in the mixing bowl and shred 3 sec/reverse/speed 4. Mix with the mayonnaise in a bowl.
- In a mold, layer the potato mixture, the chicken filling, avocado slices and another layer of potato.
- Refrigerate 20 minutes so it firms up.
- Unmold and garnish with olives, hard-boiled egg and a drizzle of mayonnaise.
Tips
- Yellow potato is key for causa's silky texture.
- You can also fill it with tuna or crab.
