Cola de Mono (Chilean Christmas Eggnog)
Creamy Christmas drink made with coffee, milk and aguardiente spirit.

Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 200 ml aguardiente or pisco
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step-by-step

- Put the milk, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla in the mixing bowl.
- Cook 12 min/90°C/speed 1.
- Add the instant coffee and mix 30 sec/speed 3.
- Let cool slightly and remove the cinnamon and cloves.
- Add the aguardiente and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
- Bottle and refrigerate; serve very cold.
Tips
- Tastes best the next day, once the flavors meld.
- For an alcohol-free version, skip the aguardiente.
