Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk (397 g)
  • 1 can of evaporated milk (360 g)
  • 200 g of cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 120 g of sugar for the caramel

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Prepare the caramel by melting the sugar in a pan until golden; pour it into a Varoma-suitable mold and set aside.
  2. Put the condensed milk, the evaporated milk, the cream cheese, the eggs and the vanilla in the mixing bowl.
  3. Blend 30 sec/speed 6 until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the caramelized mold and cover it with aluminum foil.
  5. Place the mold in the Varoma dish. Put 1000 g of water in the mixing bowl.
  6. Program 45 min/Varoma/speed 1 and check that the flan has set.
  7. Let it cool and refrigerate at least 4 hours before unmolding.
  8. Flip onto a plate so the caramel bathes the flan.

Tips

  • Resting in the cold is essential for the flan to take on consistency.
  • If a toothpick comes out clean when inserted, the flan is ready.
