Ingredients
- 120 g of butter at room temperature
- 100 g of brown sugar
- 80 g of white sugar
- 1 egg
- 230 g of flour
- Half a teaspoon of baking soda
- 150 g of chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Add the butter and the two sugars and beat 1 min/speed 4.
- Add the egg and the vanilla and mix 30 sec/speed 4.
- Add the flour, the baking soda and the salt and mix 20 sec/speed 3.
- Add the chocolate chips and fold in 10 sec/speed 2 reverse.
- Refrigerate the dough 30 min so they do not spread too much.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Form balls and flatten them slightly on the tray leaving space.
- Bake 12 min at 180C until the edges are golden.
- Let them rest 5 min on the tray before moving to the rack.
Tips
- Take the cookies out when the center looks underdone.
- Brown sugar adds moisture.
- Add a little flaky salt before baking.
