Milanesa Napolitana with Sauce
Crispy breaded cutlet topped with tomato sauce, ham and mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 4 thin top-round steaks
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 handful of parsley
- 300 g of breadcrumbs
- 400 g of crushed tomato
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 4 slices of cooked ham
- 200 g of mozzarella
- Oil for frying
- Salt, pepper and oregano to taste
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Place the garlic and parsley in the mixing bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 7. Mix with the beaten eggs, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the steaks in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumbs, pressing well. Set aside.
- For the sauce, chop the onion 4 sec/speed 5 and saute with a drizzle of oil 6 min/Varoma/spoon speed.
- Add the crushed tomato, the sugar, salt and oregano. Cook 15 min/100 degC/speed 1.
- Fry the cutlets in hot oil until golden on both sides and drain on paper.
- Place the cutlets in a dish, cover with sauce, a slice of ham and mozzarella.
- Gratin in a hot oven 8 min until the mozzarella melts.
- Serve with french fries or mashed potatoes.
Tips
- For more crunch, coat the cutlet twice in egg and breadcrumbs.
- Add a little grated cheese to the breadcrumbs for more flavor.
- The sauce can carry a touch of crushed chili if you like it spicy.
