Homemade banana bread

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 240 g wheat flour
  • 80 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 sachet baking powder (16 g)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Put the bananas in the mixing bowl and blend 10 sec/speed 5.
  2. Add the eggs, sugar and oil and mix 20 sec/speed 4.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Mix 25 sec/speed 3 until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a long tin with baking paper.
  6. Bake at 175°C for 45 minutes until the skewer comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool before unmolding and slicing.

Tips

  • The riper the bananas, the sweeter and moister the bread.
  • Add chopped walnuts to the batter if you like them.
