Ingredients

  • 120 g of butter at room temperature
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g of flour
  • 120 ml of milk
  • 1 sachet of baking powder (16 g)
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 150 g of butter for the buttercream
  • 250 g of icing sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Step-by-step

Choose your robot:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Put the butterfly on, add the butter and the sugar and beat 3 min/speed 3.5.
  3. Add the eggs and the vanilla and mix 1 min/speed 4.
  4. Remove the butterfly, add the flour, the baking powder, the milk and the salt and mix 25 sec/speed 3.
  5. Divide the batter into liners filling two thirds.
  6. Bake 20 min at 180C and let cool completely.
  7. For the buttercream beat the butter 2 min/speed 4 and add the icing sugar little by little.
  8. Decorate the cold cupcakes with a piping bag.
  9. Finish with colored sprinkles.

Tips

  • The cupcakes must be cold before decorating.
  • Sift the icing sugar for a smooth buttercream.
  • Use a star nozzle for a nice finish.
