Ingredients
- 500 g of ground beef
- 300 g of ripe tomato
- 1/2 white onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 potato in small cubes
- 1 carrot in small cubes
- 100 g of peas
- 30 g of oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Pepper to taste
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Put the tomato, the onion and the garlic in the mixing bowl. Blend 20 sec/speed 6 and set aside.
- Without washing the mixing bowl, add the oil and the ground beef. Saute 8 min/120°C/reverse/spoon speed.
- Add the blended tomato, the cumin, the salt and the pepper.
- Add the potato, the carrot and the peas.
- Program 18 min/100°C/reverse/spoon speed, adding 100 g of water if it dries out.
- Check that the vegetables are tender and adjust the salt.
- Serve with red rice or in tacos.
Tips
- Cut the vegetables to the same size for even cooking.
- A pinch of cinnamon or raisins gives it the sweet touch typical of some regions.
