Venezuelan Quesillo
Firm whole-egg flan with caramel, a classic dessert of every celebration.

Ingredients
- 5 whole eggs
- 1 can of condensed milk (397 g)
- 400 g of whole milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 150 g of sugar for the caramel
- 30 g of water
Step-by-step
Choose your robot:
- Prepare the caramel in a flan mold by melting the sugar with the water until golden and cover the bottom.
- Place the eggs, condensed milk, milk and vanilla in the mixing bowl.
- Mix 30 sec/speed 4 until well combined without over-beating.
- Pour the mixture into the caramelized mold and cover with aluminum foil.
- Put 800 g of water in the mixing bowl and place the mold in the Varoma container.
- Cook 50 min/Varoma/speed 1, checking that it sets when inserting a clean toothpick.
- Let it cool completely and refrigerate 4 hours before unmolding onto a plate.
Tips
- The quesillo uses whole eggs, which gives it its typical little holes.
- Do not beat too much to avoid excess foam.
- Refrigerate it overnight for a perfect unmolding.
